ASKED QUESTIONS 10. Any hints on
growing for showing?
This page is my excuse to include a photograph of
the largest A. marianiae that I have ever seen! It
received bottom watering by immersion and feeding
with reduced strength fertiliser. Over the years,
it has been potted on regularly (i.e. put in a
larger pot without disturbing the existing root
ball). It grew in the collection of Tom Russell
in Hayes, Middlesex, UK, a top prize-winner at
local shows, before it was split up and given
away as many, many cuttings and leaves.
