DISTRIBUTION
From the high Brandberg mountain in Namibia, in shady, steep, S. & E. facing rock crevices, difficult to access.

This is the most northerly Adromischus taxon.

CHARACTERS
Always mottled leaves, slightly concave on the upper side, from a much thickened rootstock. Most clones have terete leaves like A. marianiae, but some are more broader.

Adromischus schuldtianus brandbergensis
A particularly red clone of subsp. brandbergensis PVB 3302.
COMMENTS
Described in Bothalia in 2004, but first illustrated by B. Nordenstam in 1974. Originally discovered by H.J. Wiss, it has been found later by Desmond Cole, Peter Bruyns & Adam Harrower, as well as the authors of this new name.
