Also separated from A. cristatus var. cristatus are varieties clavifolius, mzimvubuensis and zeyheri.



DISTRIBUTION
Small populations in the Baviaanskloof, Langkloof, Eastern Cape.

Adromischus cristatus schonlandii
Var. schonlandii, N. Hankey on a small granite outcrop.

CHARACTERS

This generally smaller variety of A. cristatus has the apical horny margin narrower than the leaf width, plus glandular hairs on the inflorescence and flowers.

COMMENTS
Usually lacks nice leaf markings.
