DISTRIBUTION
Robertson-Worcester Karoo to Mossel Bay,
Langeberg, Swartberg, Beaufort West.
CHARACTERS
The large, flattened leaves are oval in
outline and usually red spotted - or
merely green spotted in poor light - with
an extended margin over half the leaf
length. From generally higher altitudes
than A. triflorus.
CULTIVATION
Can be difficult, since it usually grows on acidic
sandstone.
COMMENTS
All section 4 Adro's produce stout stems.
Smaller forms from coastal areas around Mossel Bay are distinctive.
