DISTRIBUTION
Namaqualand, W. & S. Bushmanland on granite, gneiss and quartz.

CHARACTERS
As redefined here, distinguished (only with difficulty from
A. marianiae "immaculatus" further south) by a rough leaf surface. Includes forms with short leaves like A. alveolatus. Click here to see how a single population may vary.

CULTIVATION
Difficult to grow into large specimens.

COMMENTS
Note the correct Latin spelling, based upon the genitive plural for Antidorcas marsupialis (Springbok), a noun in apposition.
