DISTRIBUTION
Richtersveld & coastal Namaqualand.

CHARACTERS
Very variable in leaf shape: the plain, grey-green leaves vary from long-cylindrical to short-fat.


CULTIVATION

Highly prone to rotting off, both at the height of winter or summer. Remove flower spikes before winter.

COMMENTS
Widespread in the Richtersveld mountains.

Adromischus marianiae kubusensis
A. marianiae "kubusensis", Kosiesberg growing in gritty sand on quartzite.

Adromischus marianiae blosianus
The awkward A. marianiae "blosianus", with the colour of "kubusensis" but the shape of "hallii", photo by D & M Corina, near the Orange River mouth. Very hot!
